LMS supplies security & Defence uniform (Ready made Trousers & Shirts), Woollen Jerseys,Winter Jackets, Sportswear, T-shirts, flame retardant apparels, Caps, Cap Polo, F/s & Golf, Beret Cap, Beret Cap Imported, Peak Cap , Cap Badges Laminated, raincoats, woolen garments & accessories, Metal accessories, Belts, Badges, Shoulder Titles, Lanyards and Ceremonial dress items for domestic and overseas market.
In the recent years, we have substantially extended our range to include school uniforms & accessories, Inner sets, Outer wear such as Track suits, Formal decoration items such as Ties, Scarves, kamarbands, Cuff links & Lapel sets and other related items. We have found it imperative to carry substantial stocks of these items to insure that we accommodate our customers IMMEDIATE needs.
Our manufacturing infrastructure is extended to approx. 1 acre with a covered area of 50000 sq feet and is in the easy reach of highway, railway and bus station, In Addition, we have a fabric division incorporated with modern and fully computerized knitting machines, manned by a very experienced workforce to ensure quality garments for our customized designs and motifs. These motifs are taped and can be reused without any difficulty.
Our customer base is substantial and over eighty five percent of our sales emanate from our existing customers. We serve the corporate and commercial security, Army and Para military forces, Mining and Power plants, Oil refineries and Hydro plants, Local authorities and wholesalers both large and small, in India and overseas.
We have been certified by the Chief of the army staff, the Deputy Chief of the Army Staff, the Adjutant General of India army. We have also been honored by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, for continuous growth in export for over the years. We have straight forward approach to satisfy our customer’s needs.
History
In 1955, Mr. R.R Gupta started the business of Army & Security uniform accessories in Ludhiana. It was a small factory, staffed by Mr. Gupta and two full- time employees. The business sold only army & Security uniforms. In the early days of business without any technological and system advancements. Mr. Gupta however, with determination, hard work, passion and excited optimism grew the business to include a staff of four and manifold thereafter. Mr. Gupta’S organizational skills, intimate knowledge of every aspect of the business, development of relevant systems and procedures has raised the profile of business.
In 1988, Mr. Gupta’s son, Mr. Sanjay Bansal Joined the business, having started thirty two years ago, Mr. Sanjay Bansal is now an established and well known businessman. His early passion for new developments, his skills and knowledge in this area provided the basis for a thriving business. His vision, business acumen and recognition of the future needs of the uniform articles encouraged him to include trouser, shirt, school uniform, winter wear and accessories as a core part of his uniform business. Their joint efforts made LMS a unique uniform business house that is now recognized as a major supplier of uniforms and work wear to all industry sectors. Located in famous industrial city Ludhiana (Punjab, India), LMS is within easy reach of buyers in India and aboard. In 2000, Mr. Sanjay Bansal started the export of defense uniforms and knit wears to Middle East, Africa and South East Asia. Ludhiana Military Store has been recognized and awarded by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India for consistent growth in export during the year 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2006-07, in succession.
Further this Legacy is jointly shouldered by Nipun Bansal, son of Mr. Sanjay Bansal. He is an Alumnus of the Bishop Cotton School Shimla. After completing his schooling as a topper, he flew to England for his further education. He has graduated as a Bachelor of Science holding a triple Honor’s degree in international business with finance and economics. Having read modules like international marketing, innovation, business strategies and foreign policies he has developed around acumen to viable and profitable business. Along with education he also gained quality experience in computer networking.
He bagged the position of marketing head for Indian Society of Manchester UK, for the year 2011-12, which further made him command the position of vice preside for the year 2012-2013. He has finally come back to step in his father’s shoes and since 2013 has been heading and improving the management, capacity and operations of this leading supply house to the never heights. He aims to become the first name for everyone involved in army, security, corporate uniforms, accessories and work wear Business.
